A Best Buy, Wine Enthusiast - With aromas of prickly citrus, nettle, cucumber and green fruits, this is hanging in there well. The palate seems to be softening with age, but there's enough acidity left to prop up the green apple, bell pepper and tarragon flavors. A good, basic SB from Casablanca.
88 Points, Stephen Tanzer's International Wine Cellar - Pale yellow. High-pitched, spicy aromas of lime zest, grapefruit and talc, with a suave floral overtone. Juicy, sharply focused citrus and mineral flavors expand and gain depth in the middle palate, picking up a juicy pear quality. The talc note returns on the finish, which is refreshingly nervy and dry.
Tasting Notes
Good clarity with light straw color. Fresh lemon-lime fruit, intense peach, citrus, and herbs mingle with floral accents. Medium body with citrus, melon and herb flavors that linger on the palate and end with a crisp finish.
