Tasting Notes
The Stone Cellars Chardonnay is a wonderful expression of California Chardonnay. Ripe apple flavors, enticing citrus aromas and a touch of baking spices and French vanilla round out the palate. The wine's balance of bright fruit, elicate spice and crisp finish make it a great pairing with any number of foods.

Winemaker Notes
To preserve the varietal expression, winemaking techniques were utilized to maintain the vivid, fresh flavors naturally found in Chardonnay grapes. A careful balance of oak and steel fermentation was required in order to extract the most depth from the wine, yet preserve its refreshing fruit qualities. Accordingly, only a portion of the wine was fermented with oak to lend some spice and mouthfeel to the finished blend.
