The 2008 Sledgehammer Cabernet begins with complex aromas of blackberry and black cherry, with notes of clove and spice.  Powerful and fruit forward on the palate, flavors of plum and dark berry fruit are complemented by supple, well-integrated tannins and balanced acidity.
