Tasting Notes
Ruby red with violet hues.  The bouquet is intense and expressive of typical Chianti.  Fruity notes of fresh plums, black cherries, well matched with hints of black pepper and spices.  Intense and medium-bodied, 2009 Superiore presents steady yet elegant tannins, perfectly complemented by its fruity body. The finish is long, showing persistent notes of fresh cherry and blueberry.

A minimum of 75% Sangiovese plus other varieties, such as Cabernet and Merlot.
