91 Points, Wine Advocate - Lastly, the 2013 Symmetry is a Bordeaux blend of 76% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Petit Verdot, 8% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec and 4% Merlot. This is a suave, supple-textured wine with sweeter tannin, more forward personality, and loads of red and black currant fruit as well as some licorice and underbrush. It is a beauty. Medium to full-bodied and very elegant, this wine was aged 16 months in 100% French oak prior to being bottled.
91 Points, Wine Enthusiast - This combines all five Bordeaux red varieties into a likable, integrated and smoothened experience on the palate that lingers in bold, concentrated flavors of blackberry and cocoa. A juicy core on the midpalate slides effortlessly into a spicy finish of clove.
The 2013 Symmetry is a luxurious bouquet of blackberries, black cherry, plum and crushed lavender which unfold on the palate with silky layers of black fruits, dark chocolate covered espresso beans and baking spices. This wine is rich, harmonious and elegant with a long, lingering finish.
