Tasting Notes
A scintillating, deep garnet red.  highly expressive black fruit at first, especially blackberry, with touches of toast and fine spice, then more complex fresh fruit aromas, especially cherry and redcurrant, that burst from the glass.  Particularly supple and round on the attack, displaying an attractive harmony between silky tannins and the freshness of the fruit on the nose. A hedonistic wine, succulent and richly flavoured, ending on a generous and pleasant, fruit-filled finish.

Grape Variety
Mouton Cadet Rouge is made from a blend of classic grape varieties: Merlot (65%) which gives freshness and aromas of ripe red fruit like cherry and raspberry, Cabernet Sauvignon (20%) the structure of well-integrated tannins and black berry fruit flavours and Cabernet Franc (15%) a round, velvet smoothness.
