89 Points, International Wine Cellar - Pale yellow. Aromas of lime and grapefruit are lifted by an ethereal dusty spice element. Bright, sappy and intense, with excellent breadth to the dense melon, tropical fruit and spice flavors. Finishes savory and persistent, with a sweet stone fruit quality. Nicely high-pitched sauvignon, and a lot of wine for the price.
88 Points, Wine Spectator - Ripe peach and apricot flavors are round and smooth, with just the right touch of acidity and a terrific fleshy texture.
Winemaker Notes
The 2011 Mohua Sauvignon Blanc shows lifted aromas of passionfruit and lime. The palate is luscious with tropical fruit and bright citrus characters. Melon, guava and grapefruit flavors combine with a fresh acidity to give a long lingering finish.
