87 Points, Wine Enthusiast - Clear and focused, with raspberry and edgy spice aromas to the nose. The palate doesn’t bring a whole bunch of meat or heft, but its clean, racy and food-friendly. Flavors of red berries and pepper are normal and expected, while the finish is dry and lean.
Tasting Notes
Intense, ruby red colour. Expressive nose and notes of raspberries, bilberries and cherries, enlivened by a touch of spice and a depth of vanilla. Charming fruit in the mouth with good structure that highlights concentrated flavours and fleshy tannins. Nice complexity on tasting resulting in good length. Thanks to rigorous selection from our best "cuvees" for 2007 Crianza, this wine retains in full the character derived from top quality grapes.
