Mendocino contributes spice and mid-palate, Lake County adds the classic red fruit profile of Bing cherry and Napa Valley maintains our signature style and structure, with flavors of black fruit and cassis. The wine's smoky barrel toast and hickory aromas mingle with raspberry and black cherry on the palate. A rich, full body with hints of sage and allspice lead into fine-grained tannins in the finish.

Rich stone fruit flavors in this wine will enhance the meatiness of mushrooms and will pair well with deep earthy flavors in pork sandwiches, chipotle honey barbecue ribs, red meats, wood fired pizzas, stewed beans, whole grains and young cheddars or aged goat cheeses.
